Accommodations and Reservations

Our lovely event will take place at Buckhorn Springs Resort, 20 minutes from Ashland, Oregon. We have privately reserved the entire resort for the weekend including all rooms, cabins, lodge, common areas, and buildings. Please check out their website at www.buckhornsprings.org
We are asking that everyone come and stay with us for the weekend, planning on arriving between 2-5pm on Friday and leaving on Sunday morning/afternoon. The resort can accommodate around 40-50 people in rooms, there is also ample space for tent camping. There is a lodge with unique and sweetly decorated rooms as well as six cabins with various shapes and sizes and rooms (most cabins have kitchens too).
We have decided to prioritize the rooms available primarily to out-of-towners and on a first come first served basis. We ask that you contact us as soon as you know that you plan on coming for the weekend so we can reserve you a room/bed (some rooms have multiple beds that will be available to people who are flexible about privacy and/or attending without a bedmate:)
If all the rooms are booked, out-of-towners may need to reserve a hotel room in town. We will do our best to organize shuttles or pick-ups so that rental cars are not necessary.
To our friends coming from the surrounding area who wish to stay on the grounds for the weekend, we will accommodate you in a room if possible. Please consider camping over driving home in the evenings if those end up being the two options.
So, here´s how its gonna work:
For this event, we are want everyone to have an intimate experience and to have time to enjoy being on one piece of gorgeous land for a weekend without having to worry about meals, transportation, etc. In other words we are going to do it in a somewhat all-inclusive style. Think of it like a festival or a resort vacation where you get a weekend of events, meals, activities, accommodations and fun all combined. Meals from dinner on Friday until breakfast on Sunday will be provided as well as two nights lodging. We are going to ask people who stay in a room to contribute $100 per person for the whole weekend. As stated above, that´s for everything. For those who camp, it will be $60 per person, and for those who stay elsewhere, we ask nothing (although breakfast will not be provided), just please be around as much as possible and indulge in all the deliciousness nonetheless.
Please contact us if you have any questions and/or once you are ready to commit to reserving lodging space (invitations will be in the mail soon, though one needn´t wait to book). Please specify how many people you are and if you would be open to sharing a room (bed sharing will not be booked through us though can be arranged once on-site ;). We will assume couples would like a private room. Please note that room sharing is not expected, just an option and a way of getting more people accommodated in a limited space. Campers need not reserve, there looks to be plenty of space in a nice flat area by the creek, though please let us know your plans as soon as you have them figured out :)
